"One of the richest experiences of my professional career, especially because I worked with a multicultural team of people from all over the world! I had the pleasure of helping and guiding my Mexican colleagues in promoting their content. Mexican museums were finally in the top 10, and I am very proud of that!

Edson Armando, MuseumWeek Ambassador for Latin America, Museum Director in Puebla City, Mexico.

MuseumWeek Ambassador Program — Terms of Participation

Voluntary engagement The MuseumWeek Ambassador Program is a volunteer program. Ambassadors contribute on a strictly unpaid basis. No compensation, fee, salary, or reimbursement of any kind is provided by Culture For Causes Network (C4C) in exchange for ambassador activities.

Personal decision and employer responsibility Applying to and participating in the Ambassador Program is a personal decision. Candidates are solely responsible for ensuring that their participation does not conflict with their employment contract, institutional obligations, or any other professional commitment. C4C does not verify and assumes no responsibility regarding the candidate's employer consent.

No insurance coverage C4C does not provide any insurance coverage — including accident, liability, health, or travel insurance — in connection with ambassador activities. Ambassadors participate at their own risk and are encouraged to verify their existing personal or professional insurance coverage.

Flexible, self-determined engagement There is no minimum time commitment. Ambassadors are encouraged to contribute at their own pace, take breaks whenever needed, and step back from activities at any point without notice or justification. C4C values wellbeing over output.

Right to withdraw Ambassadors may withdraw from the program at any time, for any reason, by notifying C4C at contact@museum-week.org. No penalty or obligation follows withdrawal.

Use of name and image By accepting their ambassador role, participants consent to C4C displaying their name, photo, and professional affiliation on the MuseumWeek website (including the Meet the Team page, available in multiple languages) and in related communications. This consent may be withdrawn at any time by written request to contact@museum-week.org.

Governing framework The Ambassador Program is organized by Culture For Causes Network, a French non-profit association (association loi 1901) registered in France. Any dispute arising from participation in the program shall be subject to French law.
